Impact on Cost Center Hierarchy Changes on Reporting (SAC+AfO)

Hello SAC Experts,

Set up is S4HANA ; SAC stories on Live connection and AfO on top of views.

In AfO some queries are using Cost Center as Hierarchy while some have this attribute shown as members/Attributes.

Now client would be updating the existing cost center hierarchy and would bring it in standard version.

For this business would be adding/removing some of the nodes in the cost center hierarchy.

I been told to perform an impact analysis study of the hierarchy changes that would affect overall Reporting (SAC +AfO)

I would like you to guide me on how to approach above scenario and also if some one has already taken such experience. If so , request you to share your experience.

For this business would be adding/removing some of the nodes in the cost center hierarchy.

The nodes removed from source will still remain in SAC even after refresh load from S4. I think the load only updates and brings in the new nodes but does not delete them in SAC dimension.

Thanks for your inputs so you think SAC would not be able to handle removed nodes in case any hierarchy gets updated from business.

So How to handle such scenarios in SAC and how about AfO.

I'm sure somebody must have come across such scenarios earlier.
