Hi there,
After acquiring data from Excel file, I notice in my story that I am missing some number of records. When I checked the model created I noticed that in some records the measure value is empty (null). If I change that to value 0 I get the records in my story.
Is there any "automatic" or better way to get all the records?
Thanks!
Hi Prabhith,
thanks again. I was asking if there is any automatic step or configuration to avoid the manual step (apply the transformation)...

Hello jrodrig4 ,
Sorry for the confusion.
I have included the screenshot just to show you only the final number of rows in the result/story.
In my case, 108 records and 109 records.
In my data source/file, I also have record with measure value as empty.
Try out the transfromation and see if it helps.

Hi Prabhith,
thanks a lot for your kind answer. I do not understand one thing. The screenshots that you added, are the final result? or are they the original data in your excel file?
if they are the original data, in my data I do not have any value in my measure. I can see that you have value 0.00 but in my excel the cell is empty.

Hello jrodrig4,
Was trying out the scenario.
Screen Shot 1: Story Output where data set has 1 entry with both measures as empty.
(108 Records)
One Workaround: One way of Automation:)
Screen Shot 2: Apply Transformation (Replace empty with 0) while loading
Screen Shot 3: Story Output where data set has 1 entry with both measures as empty.
(109 Records), All records loaded.
Does this help?
