Is there a recommended SAP Business ByDesign connection to DWC?

Hello,

Is there a way of connecting SAP Business ByDesign to DWC? For example, can we connect directly to the underlying HANA DB or use the oData connection in DWC?

I know there is a dedicated connector for SAC: help.sap.com/SAC/...
But I cannot see anything from the level of DWC: help.sap.com/DWC/...
Nor from the open connectors: help.sap.com/OC/...

If there was anyone else looking for a way to connect, use the following setup in SAP byDesign:
SAP Business ByDesign / Retrieving Analytics Data Using OData / OData API for Data Sources

Once the setup is completed, the OData should work fine. Use automatically generated technical user credentials to authenticate.

• OData API on Data Source level, exposes the raw data for data replication service
• path: /sap/byd/odata/analytics/ds/
• connection type: Generic OData V2
• upload SSL certificate
