MAXDB Upgrade

HI

We want to perform MAXDB upgrade from version to the latest version.
in softwares i can see two softwares one is server package and the other is application run time package ..
I'm in confusion which one i need to unclear and procced with upgrade.

"Server Package"  is for SAP MaxDB database server while "Application Runtime Package" contains SAP MaxDB client.

To patch your MaxDB database, you need to use the "Server Package".
