Mixed Authentication setting in SAP Analytics Cloud

rc0702

Dear Experts,

We are looking for an option in SAP Analytics Cloud to be to enable authentication via Username and Password after SSO has been enabled.

Is there any setting in SAC for this?

Appreciate any quick resolutions.

Best Regards

Hi Prashant,

Just to clarify your question:

- Do you want to have both SSO and username/password enabled at the same time? So if SSO fails you are prompted for a username/password?

- Do you want to be prompted with a username/password after a successful logon like an MFA solution?

Kind regards,

Hello Prashant

I'm guessing that you have seamless SSO enabled and external SAC users can't login. Am I right ?

There is no such setting on SAC, at least not today.

No matter which Idp is configured (Default or Custom) the SAC end users (ext or int) will need an IdP account to be able to login to SAC.

To my understanding, this shoud be achieved via a custom IDP. Default IDP of SAC is using email to logon. For most the custom IDPs, it's possilbe to use username or email to logon based on configuration.
