Multiple Entry with Static List parameter in Calcualtion View is not working in SAC

Hello,

I have created a calculation view with a parameter of type Static List and with Multiple Entry allowed:

Within a calculation view when previewing data it works.

However in the prompt window of the SAC report using Live-Connection model there is no multiple entry option:

After choosing the value form the list there is still no option for multiple entry.

What am I missing? Can you help me?

Best regards,

Aizhan

Hi Aizhan,

You can edit and change the Value1, Value2, Value3 etc in Value help dialog both for value and description column to hold the required values. As you have a not edited and changed these values, you are seeing the default Value1, Value2 etc., for IP_Test Input parameter at runtime.

Thanks & Regards,

Venkat

Hi Aizhan,

I believe this is a known limitation which is documented here: 2846586 - HANA Input Parameters with Multiple Entries option are not working in SAP Analytics Cloud. You can submit your upvote here on the Customer Influence portal: 236666 - Multiple HANA Input Parameters not supported in SAC when type is Static.

Kind regards,

Hi Martijn,

thank you for the information. Unfortunately I cannot see the the articles via your links, an S-user is required instead of P-user. What does this mean? Should I create a new user with my corporate e-mail?

Thank you and best regards,

Aizhan

Hi Aizhan,

You can ask your Administrator to create an S-User: Users & Authorizations.
