Hi All,
I am facing an issue with using Business Application Studio.
I have configured ES5 destination in BTP and am able to successfully check connection.
Additionally, I am able to login to ES5 manually and can access the OData service as well.
However, when I am configuring the destination in BAS, I first get a prompt to enter user and password. On entering the correct credentials, I get an unauthorized error.
Could you please let me know if I am missing anything? I previously been able to use the same destination in Web IDE.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
Best Regards,
Rohit
Hi ,
Please create destination from service center , choose system type "ABAP Catalog"
and fill in the URL the system host . In the sap client fill 002.

I see 2 differences that you can check
1. keep ONLY odata_abap in the WebIDEUsage
2. add suffix slash to the url
But before all check the credentials in the old destination

Please share the old destination, I assume some attribute is missing

Hi Yuval,
Compared the difference between the older destination that I had been using and the new one that I created based on Inna's answer.
Please see screenshots of both:
Screenshot 1: ES5 destination created WebIDE era (2019-2020)
Screenshot 2: ES5 destination created using BAS Service Center today.
FYI: Used the second one to test a quick project created and it works.
Could you please let me know if there is any fundamental differences between the two?
Happy to hear your thoughts on the same.
Best Regards,
Rohit
