Any idea on how to reset the password in the HANA trial cockpit?

Hi,

I am SAP employee who is forced to single sign on the HANA trial cockpit. While when I deploy the server in Eclipse, the default password does not work. I tried my windows password but it still does not work.

Any idea on how to reset the password in the HANA trial cockpit?

I found the issue myself.

I should remove 'trial" in the user name although it has "trial" in the ID setting in the hanatrial.ondemand.com.

Jiayi,

the name with the "trial" at the end (shown at the top left in the SAP HANA Could Platform Cockpit) is not the user id, but the id of the account for which the details are displayed.

The user name and id are displayed on the top right of the screen and should not have the "trial" appended.

Actually, a user can be a member of more than one account, and in that case you can switch the account by clicking on the small triangle next to the displayed account name.

For the free developer accounts there is automatically an account created for each user whose name is constructed by appending "trial" to the user name.
