I think the easiest way to connect with a 3rd party ETL/Data Integration Tool is to use the OpenSQL Schema within SAP Datasphere.
In the space management you can add a so called data Database User - which allows to read or write into the specific space.
Then you can setup a standard HANA Cloud JDBC connection from e.g. Dell Boomi with the credential of that user. Note that if you want to read data from SAP Datasphere the tables/views need be "exposed for consumption" otherwise you can´t see them.
