Can we deploy UI5 app within SAP BTP other than SAP Cloud Foundry environment?

Hello Experts

Can we host/deploy UI5 apps within SAP BTP other than SAP Cloud Foundry or ABAP repo (OnPrem)? We don't prefer ABAP repo considering UI5 version is old (1.71.55). Would like to avoid SAP Cloud Foundry to avoid additional costs.

How can we use HTML5 App Repository to bundle apps without CF environment?

Hey!

Yes, you can use the HTML5 App Repository service. You'll need to have a Cloud Foundry environment up and ready (activated), but you do not need to use it. Costs will only apply for CF, if you're going to deploy an app on the CF env.

About your HTML5 App: You'll need to verify, you do not use a standalone app / the SAP Approuter as direct dependency as it's part of the service.
