cant create SELECT_ON_TLOG_F_C_WITH_GRANT#.hdbrole

I am following HANA Cloud workshop session #1.

One of the step is to create a hdbrole where the role name include #

-- 4 - role 1: SELECT_ON_TLOG_F_C_WITH_GRANT#.hdbrole

The BAS gives an error implying # is not a supported character "Use only numbers letters underscores(_) and hyphens(-).

Please advise on how to handle this situation to continue workshop

Hi @dhirendra.gehlot

the name of the file that defines the role and the role name can be different. So you can have a file with name SELECT_ON_TLOG_F_C_WITH_GRANT that defines the role with name

SELECT_ON_TLOG_F_C_WITH_GRANT#

This means: remove the "#" from the filename.
