Changes are not loaded

I'm new to developing on the SAP BTP and the Cloud application programming model.

Therefore I am trying out some tutorials like the following: https://developers.sap.com/mission.hana-cloud-cap.html

I finished the tutorial and tried to add some custom features.

I tried to add the application to the launchpad service by deploying the application (with "mbt build").

Unfortunately the deployment failed and I couldnt add the application.

I think this issue can be resolved, but the bigger issue now is that when I change the application (i.e. controller or view), those changes are not shown/loaded when I test my application.

Bevor the deployment, I could simply launch my app router and navigate to my site and all changes were immediately displayed. Now that is no longer the case.

Is there a workaround to have my changes recognized again?

What have I done wrong / do I misunderstand anything with the development?
