CO-PA DataSource - Change Application Component

Hi Everyone,

I've generated a CO-PA datasource from KEB0. This DS is supposed to extract data only from certain specific company codes and only those company codes are to be able to access the DS.

We've decided to implement this security measure by assigning the DS to a newly created Application Component (RSA8) and then giving authorisations for the App. Component to the specified company code.

But the problem is that when I try to change the Application Component of the CO-PA DS from RSO2 from 'COPA' to 'Z_APP_COMP' it reverts to 'COPA' when I click the 'Save' button. Any ideas as to how I can change the Application Component to the Z* that I created?

Answered by self. Changed the Application Component assignment from RSA6.
