Custom Field added via CFL app not visible in Manage PIR (F1982) while adaptation

Hello Experts,

We have added a custom field in the Manage PIR (F1982) app via the Custom Fields and Logic app - the added custom field is visible in the F1982 app. We are now creating am adaptation project for F1982 in SAP BAS and when we run the adaptation project using the manifest.appdescr_variant file, we are unable to see the added custom field on the screen. When we check the network tab for the metadata URL of the application, we can see the custom field within the corresponding entity.

We found a similar question posted earlier, but there was never any response on this one. Can someone let us know why the custom field is not visible in the app while adaptation?

Hi Saurabh,

Are you creating a new Project under SEGW?

I think it's due to the fact that standard MPC_EXT and DPC_EXT have MPC_FLX and DPC_FLX as superclasses.

Those extensibility classes get lost when you generate new custom Runtime Arfifacts.

This is just my guessing...
