Data Element and Domain in SAP HANA

Hi all,

I am not able to find how to create data element or domain in sap hana.

I am using SAP BAS -> SAP HANA data base Artifcat-> ( tried searching data element or domain).

I googled the same but not able to. can some one help me, wheather data element and domain concept exists in SAP hana.

Purpose: I am creating the hana table where instead of fixed type want to give a data element so that in future if i want to change the length then going to all the tables and modifying the length , i can make the change in data elemnt which reflect in all.

Domains and data elements are a concept excusively available on the ABAP stack.

These concepts are not available directly on the database level, for instance on SAP HANA.

If you want to have such a functionality you could "manage" your DB with a SAP Cloud Application Programming Model project which allows you to define types which can be reused (check capire - Definition Language (CDL) (cloud.sap)). But I don't know if that would fit into your dev strategy.
