Hello all,
I am try to get the column names in Data Insight to be sorted in the order that they appear in the DB Table instead of Alphabetically.
It seems that there is a field called Sort Columns in the the User Level Settings --> Display --> Metadata --Results Section
You can set this value to Sort Columns in database order.
This does not seem to do anything.
It is annoying that all the columns always show up in alphabetical order only - in many cases the first few colums are the primary key fields or most used fields.
thanks
prashant
Prashant,
That parameter is for results tables from column queries. WHen you define a column query, and choose to return data, the Sprt Columns setting determines whether the columns of the result table will be in alphabetical or database order.
The display of tables in the Profile, Column Query and Referential Integrity tabs will always be alphabetical. There is no way to change this.
