Hello,

I have encountered an error that says "DB2_001_050::critical::SID:Could not acquire lock - aborting" under cfg file for DB2. Upon checking in /var/opt/osit/db2/log, it produces

DB2_002_000::warning::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloUpdateKP

DB2_002_000::warning::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloUpdateKP

DB2_002_000::warning::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloUpdateKP

DB2_002_000::critical::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloSetPriorityHdl

DB2_002_000::warning::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloRequestSetPriority

DB2_002_000::critical::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloSetPriorityHdl

DB2_002_000::warning::db2sid:oper_system_services sqloRequestSetPriority

Is there any other way to remediate this type of occurence? Thank you

Hi Maria,

please also consider opening a customer incident - this kind of question is tricky to answer via a community discussion. Frank (see his comment) has already suggested to have a look at the messages in the db2diag.log. The db2diag.log might also be useful to clarify your question with SAP support. Kind regards, Sabine
