Downgrade existing Integration Suite tenant to a lower service plan - How to?

Hi experts,

We currently have an integration tenant with the plan standard_edition which was mistakenly configured with this feature.

Our need is that the plan must go down to basic, that is, downgrade the plan to basic_edition.

Checked several blogs but apparently this activity is not possible.

In these cases, what route do we should consider?

What possible steps could we take to correct this: move from standard_edition to basic_edition?

Finally we had to delete the previous subaccount and create a new one (basic_edition) importing all content again.
