Fiori QR Scan doesn't work on mobile native browser

Hi Expert,

Any idea why QR Scanner work only with fiori app in android and ios but doesn't work with native browser.

and how can fix it .

It would help if you let us know which SAPUI5 Version you're using.

We are using sap personas flavor "cordova barcode scanner" linked with fiori tile via slipstream engine it was working fine under sap fiori app but according to support stoppage on Q1 2022 we must move to mobile native browser

I would suggest you reach out to toros.aledjian and get added to the "SAP Fiori Practitioners Forum". Today there was a great presentation of the native Browser support Barcode Scanner Control which is downported to SAPUI5 1.84 and available starting from 1.92. In parallel I would suggest to file an incident via SAP support in the Slipstream Engine area.

It's also supported in the latest versions of SAPUI5 1.71.
