Fix SolMan and ChaRM after upgrade to s/4

Hello colleagues,

We have the following problem.

We have systems like DEV-QUA-PRD, which are registered for EWA and ChaRM in the Solution Manager.

However after the upgrade from ERP -> S/4 HANA, they appeared as new entries in SLD, becase they are now different version. Actualy they are now different product with different license. So we have 2xDEV, 2xQUA, 2xPRD in our SLD.

The result in the LMDB after that was we had new systems like PRD0001, QUA0001 and DEV0001.

I cannot delete the old systems from LMDB because they participate in the ChaRM funcionality. They still work, because the RFC connections are OK.

How to tell the Solution Manager that PRD0001 is PRD, but it is just upgraded?

Firstly, try "Move" functionality as per post#1 and follow the notes:

• Note 1694004 – Dealing with duplicate technical system names (SIDs)
• Note 1727294 – AS Java/ABAP System move functionality

In addition, CR Content and CIM model updates are required, see SAP Note 669669.
