Hi Team,
Am trying to connect HCI (CPI) DS to Hana DB,I was able to connect successfully, but it writes data only in INSERT mode, how do we control mode we write data into a HANA table ie either Insert or Update or any other?
Thanks,
Uday
Got the solution now. When an integration happens from IBP to Database using a view/table approach, the HCI DS loader by default performs an INSERT command. When you create the Data Flow, double click on the Target Table, you will find two options:
- Auto correct load based on primary key correlation - This option is used to perform INSERT/UPDATE. Select this check Box.
- Delete data from table before loading - This option is used to perform REPLACE command.
These are the ways you can work on a Database INSERT/UPDATE/REPLACE mode from IBP to HCI to a Database.

Hi, Vimal.
Thank you for your solution. Insert/Update works in this mode but choosing the second option "delete data from table before loading" still causes problems. The flow results with an error:
"DBS-70404 SQL submitted to ODBC data source <...> resulted in error.. General error;258 insufficient privilege"
Did you face this problem ?
