Heterogenous system copy export/import - Monitoring and Troubleshooting log files

Hi Experts,

Could you please mention the Heterogenous system copy log files for monitoring and troubleshooting the running export and import for Oracle database.

Right from table,package splitting , Target DB size calculation, run estimation and etc...

Target DB : HANA 2.0 SP05

Please answer in detail.

Hi,

You can create a TMP directory explicitly and set that directory as a envioremnt variable and run the export and import so all logs will be inside that TMP directory and you can see all the logs and monitor the progress.

Set the environment variable

export TEMP = < desire path of the location>

export TMP = < desire path of the location>

And start the SWPM in the same session.
