How to dynamically hide the columns in SAC PLanning Story

Dear Team,

I have a requirement to show up the columns dynamically based on user chosen date input for data range

For eg. user choose 2022, with a defined date range as ( 2022 to 2025), I am looking for options to open up story as below dynamically.

1. 2022 year expanded to all months

2. 2023 should be showing only full year single column

3. 2024 should be showing only full year single column

4. 2025 should be hidden

Please advise if this is feasible in SAC planning.

Hi

You can use the forecast layout to achieve that.

Just change the table type from Cross-tab to Forecast and you will get a new set of properties on the table layout.

It is based on a cut-over date, which can be an input parameter.

Set it to took ahead 2 years, cutover date in 2022, granularity as year and you will get the layout you mentioned.
