How to Manage Space for Devlopment&Quality in Single Tenant in DWC

Hi,

If we want to utilize Single Tenant for both Dev&QA environment , How do we maintain the spaces?

How do we Transport the Objects from one space to other and re-point the connections ?

Please share you experience or ideas

Hi Yugandar,

Transport app, export, import tools are only available for multiple tenants. Sap also supports multiple tenants.

For single tenant, sharing objects via repository explorer might be solution for your case.

We are using JSON export/import and dwc-cli (nodejs app) to work with DWC content, but this is not an ideal solution as Nick Köhle explains not all objects are exported in this way.

I think this would be a good reason to make DWC a multi-tenant system, allowing the sharing of contracted resources among several tenants for project control.

Hi Yugandar,

you could try the Export CSN-File from one Space and import it to another one. The problem is that objects like Data Flows and Intelligent Lookups are not included in the Export. So there is not really a good option for the single tenant environment.
