I am looking for some advice on integration options to setup ETL with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence with Non-SAP applications. Please point me to any knowledge atrifacts released by SAP in this regards.
Also any learing content on the same will also be appreciated.
warm regards,
Virendar Kaushal
Hi Virendar, here some guidance:
• Whenever a standard connector is supported, that's the most recommended option. Here the list of our standard connectors: https://documentation.signavio.com/suite/en-us/Content/process-intelligence/etl-connectors.htm
• For source systems that are not supported, and/or for scenarios where highly complex data transformation is needed, we can rely on SAP Data Intelligence Cloud, or SAP Cloud Integration
• SAP Data Intelligence is mainly recommended for ETL-based integration scenarios. Here an SAP Enable Now demo how to build a pipeline in Data Intelligence and push data into Process Intelligence via Ingestion API: https://sapsignavio.enable-now.cloud.sap/pub/procinqr/index.html?show=project!PR_4863E7754B90BB91:pr...
• SAP Cloud Integration is a capability within SAP Integration Suite. It is mainly recommended for API-based integration scenarios. I-flows can be built to move data from an external application to Process Intelligence. There are adapters for instance to connect to 3rd party systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, and Oracle Netsuite. Here an SAP Enable Now demo how to build an i-flow in SAP Cloud Integration and expose data to be pulled by the OData connector in Process Intelligence: https://sapsignavio.enable-now.cloud.sap/wa/releases/index.html?show=project!PR_B783FE8494DA403E91FF...
If none of the previous options are available, customers can bring their own data integration tool, and leverage on Ingestion API or Odata connector in Process Intelligence, to respectively push data, or expose data to be pulled in Process Intelligence
