NSE support for BW on HANA with SPS05?

Hi Robert, in your slideset about NSE on HANA2 SPS05 there is an overview picture about the different data tiering methods, which indicates that NSE is supported both for BW on HANA and BW4/HANA. A colleague recently listened to a webinar about NSE (from SAP) where a statement was made that NSE is only supported for BW4/HANA but not for BW on HANA. Could you please clarify?

Application-specific guidelines apply, please refer to the below SAP Notes:

• 2816823 - Use of SAP HANA Native Storage Extension in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA
• 2798428 - Data Tiering in SAP S/4HANA for financial products subledger, banking edition / Smart AFI
• 2347382 - SAP BW/4HANA – General Information (Installation, SAP HANA, security corrections…)
  NSE for DTO supported starting BW/4HANA 2.0 SP04

Any version prior to that will not support NSE. In SAP Business Warehouse powered by SAP HANA (BWonHANA database), the use of NSE is not supported.
