Hi guys
is there some kind of "SAP approved" solution to create a relational connection to an Excel file on a SFTP server ?
As I can see, Excel files can be used as "sources" via ODBC drivers, but the ODBC drivers for Excel do not allow searching on SFTP folders (al least on Windows).
I tried to "add a network location" on the Windows host running BO, but only http, ftp or network shares are supported (not SFTP).
There are some third-parties "drivers" to install on Windows that allow you to add network location by SFTP protocolo... but... I don't know if such a thing is "SAP compliant".
What do you think about ? Is there some other solution ?
Thank you very much guys !
Data Access addendum to PAM lists supported data access methods.
If the drivers listed allow connection to xls located on SFTP -- it'll work, if not - no.
