SAC standard business content for S/4 HANA on-premise

Hello,

This is regarding the use of SAC standard business content on top of S/4 HANA on-premise system.

S/4 HANA 1909 SPS03 on-premise (S4 prem) , SAC tenant Release 2021.08 - cloud foundry (SAC)

I read some questions where consultants are asking about the scope to leverage SAC standard business content on top of S4 prem system.

For e.g. I found an answered question here where it is suggested that S/4 HANA Cloud (S4 Cloud) connection can be repointed to S4 prem. However, how do we know whether underlying CDS views will also be available in S4 prem ?

Any documentation in this regard will be very handy to refer. What SAC standard business content can be leveraged with S4 prem Vs S4 Cloud. Can someone please provide some reference in this regard ?

Hi Prathamesh,

All the standard business content has been built for S/4HANA cloud. These can be used for S/4 On-Prem. However, it will be unto the customer and/or consultants to ensure that the underlying CDS views are available/in-sync. Most of the CDS views are in sync with the 2020 OP release. For earlier versions this needs to be validated manually.
