SAP IPS, IAG: Proxy System type for BTP

Hi All,

There are 2 types of Proxy systems: SAP Cloud Foundry and SAP BTP XS Advanced UAA (Cloud Foundry) in IPS>

Which one of them should be used. And in IAG which applicaiton type should be used: SAP Cloud Platform or SAP Cloud Foundry

Please suggest other than sap help library. as resolution provided in SAP OSS incident does not match SAP library.

Hello Plaban,

From IPS perspective this is the connector that should be used for setting up a SAP BTP XS Advanced UAA (running on SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry environment) system. IAG used the SAP BTP XS Advanced USS connector. Check point 4 on the IAG documentation. I don't know what is your exact scenario but I assume this is what you need.

The Cloud Foundry is only for Cloud Foundry UAA and no longer supported on bundled IPS tenants (only on standalone ones)
