SBPA Concurrent Execution On Same Agent Machine

Hi,

Just wanted to know if there any way to execute all the automations within a process instance on the same agent machine (VDI)? I have assigned 3 VDIs for the same process and the automations jobs are distributed across them for same process instance. Is there any way to make them sticky?

Thanks in advance,

Amit

what do you mean by "sticky"?

By Sticky I mean all the automations in a process stick to the same VM. E.g. I have 10 automations in a process and 3 VDIs allocated to the process (using attributes). When the process runs, first automation will run on VM1, second on VM2, 3rd on VM3, 4th on VM1 and so on...the automations get allocated to VMs in a round robin manner. But if I want to run all the automations of the same process instance on same VM, is that possible?

That’s actually a great question as it impacts the licensing costs a lot. So running everything on the same agent, you would only have to pay one connection at all time? That’s an important factor for a business case.
