Topic Name Queue Event Mesh

hi,

I created a queue on the Event Mesh, how can I direct just one event to this queue? For example, when creating the Business Partner on S/4hana.

I saw that it is necessary to insert the topic name of the queue but it doesn't work for me.

but it only works when I enter * but in this case it intercepts all events:

Can you provide me with the string to insert in the topic name for the creation of the business partner?

Hi Mark,

if you use s4h cloud as a system

to do this, open Maintain Event Channel Binding app in S4 cloud launchpad, choose the channel, and look to Outbound Topics, whose messages we will be transmitting. For example, if we only need to transmit messages for creation, we select and add topics for creation messages. Example for Business Partner Created below.

After that, go to Event Mesh app on BTP.

In the Events tab, you can see all events that you added in the S4H cloud to your channel.

Copy the event topic name to the field in the screen below  and click Add to subscribe.

S4 is on premise and is connected via cloud connector with CPI

what could be the problem?

Does the channel on S4 have to have the same name as the channel on Event Mesh?
