Webservice call for data validation using the BRF+ Framework

Hi Experts,

Kindly suggest is it possible to call an existing external webservices inside the BRF+ framework to perform data validation for a set of fields related to Business Partner master data.

It´s possible using the framework on different ways. In Brazil and Europe we have deliver such cases based on BRF+ using Validation and/or Derivation and configurations using BAdis, floorplan WEB DYNPRO etc. . But the complexity of connections must be evaluate to configure according. Many consulting firms has create similar extensions that you can see like Avelon at:https://www.avelon.be/mvp. Looking for an example of SAP MDG VALUE PACKAGE for BP´s.

I understand that we can create a BRF+ function and expose that as a external webservice to perform validation, but like to understand the feasibility of the reverse case of calling an existing external webservice in the BRF+ rule to do certain data validation by SAP standard. Kindly suggest.
