SAPGUI for Windows 7.70 / text in pop ups is shown delayed

Hello community,

we just got a SAPGUI 7.70 patchlevel 2 hotfix 1. In the options HTML control is set to Edge.

Result: Some of our coding generates pop up and at first the text is not shown. If you wait some time, the text comes. The theme does not matter.

If you switch the HTML control to IE: It is better then.

My question: Is there a solution with HTML control on EDGE to avoid this behaviour? Because IE is at the end of its livecycle, so the above mentioned workaround will not work for ever.

the only thing we found out: HTML with IE works also, even if you do not have an IE installed on your system.

Try to update the latest patch of SAGUI 7.70 and update the security updates in windows OS along with Edge brower.

in the SAPGUI options you can only set IE / EDGE:

And the default browser in our organisation is EDGE. You are not allowed to install or set another browser at your pc.

Try to change the default browser from edge to either Google Chrome or Firefox.
