Warehouse Order API usage for Mobile App

Dear All,

We are building an app using SAP MDK for the staging and kitting process of Warehouse Management(EWM). To proceed with this app we would like to use the "Warehouse Order and Task (A2X)". However, we have on premise S/4 Hana Release - 2020 which as per my understanding is not supported for this API. These are Odata V4 API's for which the service group API_WAREHOUSE_ORDER_TASK_2 is not available in our on premise system.

So, in the above scenario I am looking for suggestions to have a work around to be able to use these API's.

Hi,

I would say there is no workaround. Or the workaround is to switch to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Because SAP Note "3093108 - Using Warehouse Management APIs" lists this and some other APIs and says "These APIs are not supported for EWM embedded in SAP S/4HANA or decentralized EWM based on SAP S/4HANA. (...) The use of external APIs is foreseen for SAP S/4HANA Cloud only. They contain fewer fields than are usually used in the business processes in Extended Warehouse Management."
