That helped me to overcome the issue "Assertion failed: Unable to gnerate a new password for databse login 'sa' ... " by renaming and copying SYBASE_ASE_TD.lic in /server/TAR/x86_64/ .

That helped me to overcome the problem of "installation hanging at : Authorizations set for /sybase/NPL/startase_reset_sa." by installing SAP NetWeaver Dev Edition 752 on openSUSE Leap (15.3) instead of openSUSE Leap (15.4).
