We last announced new SAP Community groups in December, prior to the migration from the previous platform to our new home. We then had to pause the launch of new groups during the migration period, but we're back to reviewing requests and expanding our community to serve additional interests, locations, and more.

Since completing migration, we have introduced two interest groups and one location group, as well as a new SAP SuccessFactors User Group. The latter is only open to SAP employees and certain customers, but the other three groups are available to all.

Want to learn more about these groups? I provide links below as well as descriptions (which, admittedly, I borrowed from the groups themselves -- to give credit where credit is due).

  • Data and Analytics (open interest group): If you're looking to connect with fellow data enthusiasts, exchange knowledge, and delve deeper into SAP and the data realm, then this is the group for you.
  • Security and Compliance (open interest group): Security and compliance are critical for business operations, and this group provides a place where you can discuss how to protect SAP solutions and cloud services.
  • Vilnius (open location group): Launched just last week, this group offers a home for members in or near Lithuania's capital who wish to connect with like-minded SAP professionals and unlock their full potential.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning Custom Report Exchange (gated product user group): If you're an SAP SuccessFactors Learning customer or SAP employee, you can join this group to connect, share success stories and best practices, and ask questions about custom learning reports.

Any of these groups sound appealing? Then feel free to join one, some, or all! Just click the blue Join Group button found at the top of each page. And follow this What's New section by selecting Options and clicking Subscribe. We're currently working on launching approximately a dozen new groups, and we'll announce them here -- so subscribing to What's New will ensure that you stay up to date whenever we roll out new areas for you to explore.
