itelligence was founded in 1989 in Bielefeld, Germany as a family business and as one of the first SAP Partner for business solutions. Only a few years later we expanded internationally with offices in Europe, Asia and North America. Why did you apply for the SAP Outsourcing Operations Partner Certification program?
Our clients are requesting these certifications as part of their partner selection process. Certification as an SAP outsourcing operations partner will help us ensure compliance with these new customers.
How has been your journey through the OPC certifications been? (e.g., the evolution of certifications, for how many years have you been in the certification program, etc..)
Since 1993, itelligence has been working closely with SAP and gained a first SAP Global Partner Service status in 2003. Germany started participating in the OPC certifications early in 2001. In 2004, the United States also took part in the certifications and thus in 2006 we participated globally. Later, in 2011, we also added Malaysia for the platform certifications – Hosting Operations, SAP HANA® Operations, Cloud and infrastructure Operations. Globally, in Germany and in the US we hold the three platform certifications as well as two application certifications – SAP Business Suite Solution Operations and SAP S/4HANA solution operations.
itelligence is now an SAP Global Platinum Reseller and SAP Pinnacle Award Winner – amongst other thanks to the five certifications we have in stock.
How have the OPC certifications helped you to improve the service improvement process?
Together with our integrated management system, the SAP certification is a very good supplement for our business services. With SAP, we can offer our clients extremely intelligent and high-quality software processes, which are exactly tailored to their needs and offer new possibilities for their businesses.
How have the OPC certifications helped you to enhance your managed services offerings and go-to market activities?
With a local and global certification, we are able to incorporate our global SAP service in our marketing processes.
