ALV template error Template must not be deleted. No self-defined template. Message no. 0K401

Dear gurus

Kindly assist as i'm trying to use custom template in ALV report and i used program BCALV_BDS_UPLOAD to upload my template and when i tried to run another ALV report i found that the template is defaulted for all the reports so i tried to delete it from change layout button in ALV report it displayed a dialog i selected View tab then from the menu i selected Microsoft Excel and it appeared in the table so i selected it and pressed delete button and i got the following error

Then i used program BCALV_BDS_MAINTENANCE to delete the template and when i press delete i got message 00000000 templates deleted and nothing deleted

Any help would be appreciated

Hi

CUS_STANDARD_TEMPLATE and SAP_STANDARD_TEMPLATE must not be deleted

(CL_ALV_BDS=>MAINTAIN_DELETE)

just upload the sap standard template again for CUS_STANDARD_TEMPLATE (or do some debugging...)
