FB03 create attachment error CL_GOS_DOCUMENT_SERVICE->create_attachment

Hi all,

In FB03-> as shown below when user tried to create attachment, will get the error. Anyone knows what might be wrong here?

Press the help button of message "Error occurred during import" (SO424):

  • Procedure
  • If the document is still open in the application, you need to close it before you carry out a new import.
  • This error message may indicate a SAP-GUI problem. The cause could be an error during data conversion, for example. Report the error to your system administrator.

I suppose the message is SO424, which long text is:

Diagnosis

An error occurred during the import of a file.

System Response

The import was not carried out.

Procedure

If the document is still open in the application, you need to close it before you carry out a new import. This error message may indicate a SAP-GUI problem. The cause could be an error during data conversion, for example. Report the error to your system administrator.


Refer to the note 2599578 - Create Attachment with .csv extension, SO424 Error occurred during import / 1R557 Content-... for possible cause. Also the note shows how to display application log that might shed some light on the problem.
