Have you wondered if using the available free AI tools you can create programs in ABAP? I did some experimentation and have these conclusions:
1. simple things can be done, although it is not perfect. I don't know how from the programmer's point of view, because it's probably much faster for the developer to write the program himself. But maybe the small parts. Someone who has absolutely no idea about SAP is unlikely to handle it. But if someone needs a simple report, and doesn't know how to program, it can work.
2. language models are great for explaining code. And here I see a huge potential for SAP consultants who do not know how to program. This feature could be super useful for many people.
