Due to Production order number range can't be added or changed in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, what sholud I do when number range of one type production order reached limit?
Hello BettyChu ,
Always follow steps to create new number range once existing one is exhausted also you can check with your technical consultant regarding automation on this area like when number range is going to exhaust , system should warn everyone via workflow emails that Number range going to exhaust soon , please extend it ASAP !
Let me know in case of further questions. Hope this is sufficient to answer your question.

Hi @BettyChu
If the number range assigned to the Production Order is exhausted then you can follow the
KBA https://me.sap.com/notes/3302170 and assign a new number range
When a number range has reached its limit , it rolls over to the start again so the alternative is to start
archiving Production orders using archiving object PP_ORDER
Best Regards
Enda
