Group Reporting: Custom fields not included in data release for plandata

We have implemented a couple of custom fields, both in accounting and in Group Reporting. This works fine and in the data release task, this specification is flowing from ACDOCA to ACDOCU. However if we release a plancategory, the custom fields are not taken into account. We do see the data in the ACDOCP, but not in the acdocU. And if we open the mapping option in the result screen, we don't see the the fields either for plancategories, however, we do see them for actual data. 

How can we make sure this data does flow in from ACDOCP to ACDOCU?

Which S/4 HANA version you are using? Per note 2940122 - Fincs: Release task - Improvements to Journal entry planned release (ACDOCP), it is possible for S/4 HANA 1909 SP04 and S/4 HANA 2020 onwards.

We are on 2021 so it should be possible. I will double check the note
