Me21n and me22nScreen layout config

Hi all,

I want to grey out the po line iitemfield (ebelp) when user try to create manually through t.code Me21n and cchange it through me22n. Tried screen layout configuration with field selection key maintained in document type config but it didn't work...ease help me to sort it out.
