In SAP Subscription Billing, you can configure allowances for pay-per-use subscriptions. Allowances enable you to offer an initial amount of usage credit that can be consumed without charge. You can either create allowances for individual subscriptions or configure and assign allowance templates to your products.
The allowance template contains predefined data, such as the initial balance or the validity period. With the template you have the option of letting the system generate allowances for every new subscription to the product, instead of creating allowances manually.
