Badges block on People Profile Spotlight

We do not have the Badges block configured in BCUI, yet there is a Badges block shown on the People Profile Spotlight. Is there a way for us to remove this? Since we have not used this before or done any kind of roll-out with the company, it would be confusing to end-users to see this. Thanks!

I've been trying to find a way too in our Preview environment but I can't find any way to control which sections do and no not appear (even if they are blank). I'd encourage you to vote on my Influence request below which relates to this query:

There is a second concern with badges in spotlight : you can only add up to 20 badges active at the same time in the instance.

these is completely not compatible with the number of recognition programs available in parallel in any global company.

As an example, SAP community web site have over 20 badges , so it’s impossible for SAP internal employees to replicate the same list of badges available in commuunity.sap.com within SuccessFactors badge portlet.
