Reporting data generated for disabled tracking workarea

Hello,

I didn't turn on the "Tracking Back End" option to my standard content connected workarea. I also didn't create assignment to it. But the reporting data for the standard content is appearing in Reporting options of the manager. How is this possible?

Hi Mani,

Yes, I've just tried to report on a Connected WA, in my Manager environment, and it does seem to track users but only one user.  I assume that this means:

1. Someone has turned on tracking in the standard content servers
2. The one user being tracked is the anonymous user.  No user is required to authenticate to get standard content so they must be using the anonymous user to distribute that content

So, whilst it appears possible to report on a Connected WA, it's not meaningful.
