Send personalized automated mails to candidates

Hi,

can we send a different address line to males and females from Success Factors. Can Success Factors distinguish between male and female and then choose the right address line in the German language similar to "Dear Mr. Clinton or Dear Mrs. Clinton)?

Hi Simone,

Though you cannot send personalised email, there is a workaround for this.

Capture a field called 'Title' in candidate profile or application which holds values like Mr, Ms, Dr, Mrs etc. Use that field as a token and place it before the name in the email.

Unfortunately Reena's solution by gathering the form of address only works in English and other languages with similar simplified grammar. If you are using or planning to use your SuccessFactors instance in other languages this won't work.

It would work for any language as the picklist would be maintained for all languages implemented. The system will automatically pick up the right language based on the user's locale setting.
