SCORM file capability of fetching data from Success factors.

Hi Experts,

We have to understand how much secure to use a SCORM in Successfactors LMS created by an external vendor. In one of the discussion SCORM developer confirms that they will be able to fetch the user detail to their server using the SCORM file for dashboard creation.

What are the possible data can be fetched from the SF system using a SCORM file ? is it possible to fetch the confidential information via SCORM.

Kindly help me to understand the SCORM capability and the data security.

Hi -

I'm not sure I'm understanding what the vendor is telling you. Is the SCORM content in the SF LMS iContent server? Or did you set up an external proxlet server to enable integration with the vendor's content server?

When you say that they want to fetch user data from SF LMS, that implies to me that the SCORM content is on the iContent server. If that's the case, I don't know of a way to fetch user data via SCORM to send to the 3rd party vendor's platform. SCORM communication is between the LMS and the content/course.
