Successfactors LMS: Sending digital prework to VILT class

Hello,

I am really struggling to find an answer so curious if anyone is able to help me out. We have a team that is wanting to send prework material digitally before a VILT class. So they would like to have a PDF w/ instructions sent X many days before the class start date, but the only options I am seeing for prework is for sending physical materials (under References > Physical Resources > Materials).

This doesn't really help because there aren't any physical items to send. Aside from manually sending an ad-hoc notification from the class beforehand, is there any way to add prework to the class so users are aware they need to access this document before showing up?

I'm in the same boat as you! Very frustrating. My workaround is to create a pre-work email template and attach the PDF to it. Then, at the class level, "send an email notification" and select your template. I have to manually add reminders to myself in my calendar to do those things.

If anyone has a better workaround, I'd love to hear about it too!
