SAP REO - Exclude Resource from REO Planning

We have production areas in our production where we produce contract orders with a quantity of 1. These must be produced and delivered within 5 days.

Scheduling is not necessary because we produce in sequential order. Therefore, planning in SAP REO is not desired. These are 500 orders per day. We would like to exlude these orders from planning in Reo.

As a selection parameter we can use the resource or the order type. The order type is saved in a customer field. Does anyone have a solution for that ?

Hi Manoel,

that was the same what came to my mind 🙂

1) We tried to change the parameter in ther workcenter configuration, but we got this message and couldn't save

I think, you can´t set this parameter after starting with confirmation. Is that right ?

2) Actually we use this possibility with the filters. But i´m not really secure, if the worker change it, he can make a change of the planning. And that is wjhat we want to forbide.

regards

Andreas

Hello Andreas,

1) Yes, it seems so! Perhaps you could create a brand new Work Center/Resource and evaluate?

Hi Manoel,

i tested it in our quality-system with 23/11. Yes, your supposition is right. You can change the parameter, if you create a new workcenter. After the first confirmation changing is not longer possible.

But does it make sense ? I think, i need this possibility, if a change a team from planning to no planning. I have no problems with a filter in REO. But in our example, i have MTO-orders and if somebody change it after deleting the filter, maybe we send wrong production dates to the ERP.

Is this an incident or a case for the customer influence board ? What do you mean ?

regards,

Andreas

Hello Andreas,

I believe this fits better for the customer influence board.
